Hello Ben, folks.
So this is my very first question on this great site. I have the PIC32MX250F128D starter kit, and with that kit comes a number of programs that you can take and compile and push it to the microprocessor and kind of play with. So I took a copy of the program that's on it already, "mTouchGraphicsCodecDemo" and ran the board and it runs great. The program comes up, loads what ever music files you have on the SD card, and displays them for your selection. Of course you can't mess with the copy that's on board since it compiled. So I took the same program from Microchip website and tried to edit it in MPLAB GUI. All I do is open MPLAB, call the above program in to open it, then I hit compile and push to Micro, the GUI says "Program running" and I don't see any error messages on the GUI, but looking at the Starter Kit the screen is blank white and nothing works. It looks like it freezing. I tried contacting Microchip and usually I talk to this gentleman (I would rather not mention his name), but I don't hear back from him at all. I was hoping may you guys steer me in the right direction.
Its very hard to describe the problem because I don't get no error messages, and the compiler says "Program Running" but the screen is blank and nothing works. Yet, I don't even change anything with the program, I take it as it is from Microchip site, unzip it, open it in MPLAB, then push compile and download, and it doesn't work.
I am trying to use Microchip products to start developing this one project I have in my head, but with things going the way they are going, I am not getting much success.
Any help is greatly greatly greatly appreciate it.
PS: If you need more information please let me know and I can elaborate further.
Thank you once again.
