I'm working on my old model 1 Genesis consoles. I've completed one with composite/stereo RCA output connection and a region mod switch but the stereo sound is low and i have to turn the volume up 2x the norm just to hear it properly.
I took the sound straight from the audio chip so I would not have to use the volume slider on the console and can just use the tv volume as normal. By doing this, it bypasses the systems filters and pre-amplifier or whatever it is.
Can anyone help me come up with a simple pre-amp design i can make and incorporate into the wires leading to the audio L/R jacks to boost the signals, please and thank you!
I want to fix this audio issue so I can give this console to my nephew for Christmas. I'd appreciate any and all help, thank you.
