Understanding Inductors: Calculating Inductance and RL Series Analysis -- DC to Daylight 28

In this episode we'll check out some inductor fundamentals. We'll look at how to calculate inductance, air core calculations, then build and verify those numbers. We'll also go through the process of analyzing a resistor-inductor series circuit and find the complex impedance. I'll also provide a couple of LTSpice simulations so you can play around with the circuit on your own.

    Nice episode.

Took me back to my tech school days when we began to play with inductors.

If my theory about photons is correct, each photon forms a one loop toroid creating a magnetic loop..
