I recently watched a youtube video that has lead me here and down the rabbit hole lol. The video i watched was "Build An Off Grid Wikipedia With Rasperry Pi",  I'm fairly new to all this so there is a bit of a learning curve but I'm trying to do this myself and I was wondering when you are downloading the KIWIX program onto the raspberry pi is KIWIX its own operating system or an application that you can load on the raspberry pi OS. any help would be welcomed

    Hi there, I had to go back and watch part of the video since it has been so long since I built that. But I remember now, KIWIX has an installer type thing where it builds an image for you. You do have access to the OS so you can install other linux software on it once it is installed and running on the pi.
