Fun build. You need a pressure sensor for the pen so that you can get a better position indication when the pen meets the paper. You did a good job of capturing the basic projection of all of the arm dynamics…

Fun build.
You need a pressure sensor for the pen so that you can get a better position indication when the pen meets the paper.
You did a good job of capturing the basic projection of all of the arm dynamics into the 2D field of the paper. This is not a trivial problem and you might need to do some more extensive computation to translate all of the axes into the 2D projection.

Thanks, Mike! It was really fun making the intro. I wish I'd been able to draw something more than just the "hello world" message, but I barely got it working as it is. I appreciate all the great suggestions people have for improving it.
