I don't drink enough water throughout the day and I need a reminder that I can't just turn off. What I need is a device that attaches to my water bottle and can only be turned off by actually taking a drink from the water bottle.

Interesting build.
When I was working I used cassette tapes to provide me with break time reminders.
I put the tape player across the room and when the music stopped I had to get up from my desk to go over…
Thanks DAB, it was a fun build and I use it every day.
I still have a Marantz tape deck in the rack, it does not get much use these days... but it should. Cassette tapes had some really great qualities…
Certainly more annoying than the reminder app on my watch and harder to ignore! Nicely done!
