That is very impressive. I need access to a laser cutter!

Despite any controversy, it's still very near and dear to my heart. There aren't many shows that I think about years later like LOST. Go finish it! Also, go make a flap display too!

Thanks! Yep, It's designed to use an even multiple of the stepper resolution, but it's still quite finicky to calibrate.

Hi, Do you have STL Files for the Stepper Motor Mount and Photo Interrupter Mount. They don't show up when i load the STEP File into Fusion 360.

Hello, it is the first time that I enter this website and I do not know very well how it works. I would like to replicate this project for my house, the problem is that I do not see any connection guide between the components. Not published? Thanks!

This is a really cool project! I imagine there was very little room for error when moving each number.

Thanks James! It's a bit hard to see, but the top of the flaps just barely overlaps with the cutout of the front panel  inside to catch them and hold them in place.

Thanks! Haha, yeah, this was far and away the most tedious project I've worked on in a while. Should I build another flap display in the future, I'm gonna find a way to make a machine do the printing for me...

Well, I certainly need to do more debugging, since as far as I read, my own code only ever runs in one direction. There are very few calls to ever control the motors, and the "move to the next character" function works as expected every other time, so it's quite the tricky one to nail down. Thanks!
