I know you don't condone...but I am getting a dog next week ....so lets look into this kind of collar indeed :-)

I mean, you could use it as a training aid to beep and vibrate and I wouldn't have a problem with it. In fact, removing the transformer would save weight too!

Also - Send pictures, especially if it's a puppy!

I actually worked with one of those collars before..but you could remove the spikes so all that was left was a buzzer and a remote vibration....that was enough to train the dog. I never used the shock option..
