He investigates the innards of two pairs of over-ear headphones: the Beats Studio 3 vs the Sony WM-100XM4. They seem very similar in specs, but strangely different in price point. What might justify this difference? Let's find out!

Another great teardown.

I agree with you, give me the bigger cups that fit over the ears.

In my experience, SONY gives you better value for the money.

Their products are well built and last a long time.

I'm building quite the catalogue of Sony teardowns now, and I don't think I have ever been dissapointed. The only exception being the memory on the micro computer, and that seems to be a failure of an outsourced IC!

I'm building quite the catalogue of Sony teardowns now, and I don't think I have ever been dissapointed. The only exception being the memory on the micro computer, and that seems to be a failure of an outsourced IC!
