For some unknown reason, I thought it would be interesting (and not test my sanity) to tear down a nice big modern DSLR camera. Please don't try this at home unless you are INCREDIBLY patient. Still, there were a lot of my questions answered about them, but raised one more which is still a mystery!

    Indeed it does! I was thrown by the fack my DLSR had stabilisation as a feature of the lense!

    Mostly what I expected.

    I have been buying older automated 35-mm cameras and doing tear downs to see what they had inside.

    Now it is just an issue of how many features they pack in and how do they route all of the sensors and controls.
