Good classical overview of electromagnetism.
In my work on subatomic physics I have found that the fundamental mass objects inside the photon is what really makes what we call "electricity" work. From a physics standpoint, the electron orbiting an atomic nucleus has never been proven. The work by Werner Heisenberg showed that you cannot find an electron around an atom, rather you find a constant area of charge in existence. My new atomic model has a single shell of captured photons orbiting the atomic nuclei. The captured photons spin rather than vibrate, which account for what has been called "electron" spin. Each photon acts as a single winding toroid, which describe in a later lesson. Each photon then provides he overall magnetic field around the atomic nucleus.
It is the transfer of photons between atoms that establish current flow. This definition is critical when my research showed how permanent magnets use the photon exchange between atoms in a crystal matrix to create the magnetic domains within the material. Ferrous material, like Iron, Nickle, and cobalt all form a similar atomic crystal which then supports the maintenance of the magnetic field by exchanging photons along the short axis of the crystal with the magnetic field emanating around the long axis. It is the crystal alignment that makes a material with more permittivity, which is why Iron makes such a good magnetic conductor.
My photon approach explains why the various non-ferrous materials like aluminum can be integrated into a material to form very strong magnets where an aluminum crystal does not.
My photon approach also shows how permanent magnets satisfy Maxwell's equations for how charge flow within the crystals maintains the magnetic field.
As you can see, understanding the relationship between charge flow and magnetic field creation is a vital part of electronics.
Very nice job of presenting a lot of material in a short time period. It is a good teaser that lets us all know how much more interesting detail lies behind what is commonly known about magnets. A couple of the graphics showed the field alignment reversed but overall things looked really good and the concept was good.
