In this episode, Karen uses the accelerometer built into the bbc micro:bit to make a functioning baby robot. The accelerometer is used to sense various motions and orientations to make the user guess why the baby is crying, and give it what it wants. Like a real baby, robot baby randomly wants to be picked up, laid down for a nap, or have its diaper changed. Robot baby also doesn’t like being dropped or laid face down. And remember, Don’t Shake Baby!

What a great project! Ingenious little baby and simple electronics. Shows how powerful MakeCode programming on the micro:bit can be.
