Project14 | 2021 Year in Review

The only thing that matters with this program is what you do.    Whether it's volunteering to judge contests.   Coming up with ideas for new contests.   Shaping the program through the creativity of your work.  Or giving birth to new projects.   Every year we try to recognize a different member in the categories of Decider of the Year,  Founder of the Year, and Influencer of the year.   A final category,  Project of the Year is decided via a poll by the members.

2021 Decider of the Year

Every month we ask members to volunteer to judge Project14 competitions and it's the members that decide who win the prizes.   It gives members who were interested in the theme of a project competition an opportunity to be a part of the contest even if they did not create a project.   We leave volunteer judging open to all members provided they did not submit a project for the competition.    This year we recognize fmilburn who not only was an active participant in several contests but also could be reliability counted on to give a hand in judging the contests that he did not submit projects in.

For outstanding contribution as a a Project14 community judge,   on this day we recognize:

Congratulations to the winners, it is great to celebrate the outstanding contributions represented by these awards.

In this age of isolation, you will need to come up with your own creative ways to mark the occasion, but feel free to blog about them.

Then we can all vicariously participate.

Congrats  fmilburn, judging Projects is often a bigger and tougher job than building Projects.

Congrats jcumps , you have great insights and advice.

For myself, I just enjoy getting distracted from the daily grind and have fun building stuff, usually a bit off the wall.

I hope that the E14 community can enjoy the projects, maybe get a chuckle, maybe be inspired to join in the adventures of learning & building.

Congratulations- the projects in 2021 were overall very good and two high quality instrumentation projects in the same year is really impressive. Thanks to everyone who made a project, posted it, and made Project14 what it is.
