Monthly challenge prize redeeming

sokol07
sokol07 over 4 years ago

Hi,

I have a few questions about redeeming the prize from monthly challenge.

If I understand correctly, if I won 100$ shopping cart I can order products worth 100$ from my local element14 store and mail them to tariq.ahmad, as described in How to Redeem Your Shopping Cart for Project14.

However, I haven't found information whether we are speaking of 100$ including taxes or excluding taxes (gross or net)?

In the rules of the competition I've found information that I can order "products, which are in stock" - does it mean "only those, which are in local warehouse", for me - in Farnell Poland warehouse, or can I order products which are marked as "Available to manufacturer lead time"?

And finally: how much time do I have to redeem my prize?

I have a strange feeling that, due to covid or some other disaster, Farnell Poland is not getting any deliveries... Almost every item which I was interested in buying (many RPi models, including Pico, BitScopes, etc) are unavailable or available to manufacturer lead time, which is, in some cases, 2-3 months...

Regards!

Hi sokol07 , I sent you an dm and we can discuss further there. Under normal circumstances it would be two weeks to redeem a prize but I can work out a timeframe directly with you based on your circumstances…

Presumably it is $100 US equivalent with taxes and shipping in the total?

Hi sokol07 ,    I sent you an dm and we can discuss further there.   Under normal circumstances it would be two weeks to redeem a prize but I can work out a timeframe directly with you based on your circumstances.   It would be at or around $100 with taxes.  If it goes a little over that is alright.   If there is an issue I will let you know.   The one thing I would ask however is that you only pick items that are in stock.

I don't know if this is related to the shipping issues you are referring to but I suspect that these out of stock items are due to shipping out of the UK warehouse to stores as a result of Brexit.   We are also having to adjust certain things when sending items out of the UK region to EU countries.   I don't know if the two things are related so the best thing to do would be to contact the store in your region to find out for sure.
