Ultimate Bird-Spotting

Picture this, you have a garden and you setup a camera, or number of cameras to watch it. You may have a bird table.

You setup microphones.

Perhaps you also set up a bunch of sensors, barometric, temperature, moisture, light levels.

You pick up movement, you pick up audio, and you plot over time of day when you've spotted a bird, or maybe even a bat.

The data analysis then plots when they're spotted and identifies patterns and presents them.

    Or how to process the data in meaningful ways - I think 'hackathons' still happen near me for 'processing big data'.

    There are probably loads of citizen science type projects waiting to happen that could potentially benefit from the e14 community know-how via the likes of Project14. Probably lots of people out there after data but who don't necessarily know how to start collecting.

    Not sure if there is a list of citizen science type projects currently looking for technical help to get them going.
