You might recall my issues with power when it came to powering a motion sensor with a Wemos, from the xmas challenge: Connected Christmas Trees
So I've created a little splitter for the power-in part to make it easy to grab the power straight from the input, bypassing any onboard wemos circuitry.
I used a micro usb tip, and a micro usb input module, soldered the power and gnd from one part to the other part, and hot glued it together into this:
The pieces are on the left, combined into the one on the right.
Hard to see, but the vcc and gnd holes have pins sticking up from them from where we can tap into the raw power from the USB supply.
