The Arduino Starter Kit Upgraded Case

16 Feb 2018

So  I needed a new case/organizer for my Arduino Starter Kit that I got from participating in Simple Electronic Repairs  What better way then to enter another Project14 using what I got previously.  Seems like a no brainier to me, so that's what I did.  Hope you enjoy the video below and have added some photos below as well.  I made my project out of scrap piece of 2x6 cedar I had laying around.  so actual dimension of it completed are  11x6x4 inches.  I spent a total of $14 Canadian on this project for the hardware. Now I am organized and portable and able to continue my projects anywhere I need to be also great to store my projects when not using them in a safe place.

I am using a MPCNC V1 can find it on thingiverse or https://www.v1engineering.com/ I 3d printed it myself instead of buying a pre-printed kit. Ryan is pretty awesome over there. Back when it first came…

Hi Wesley, That's beautifully designed and created, excellent workmanship. The video was awesome to watch, and seeing your setup, but also the post-project review and the discussion about wood knot behaviour…

That's really nice! Great job! I guess the soft cedar makes for easier CNC-ing? What are you using for your CNC machine? It appears to use a regular dremel type tool for the actual motor. Cheers, -Nic…

for those that are worried about anti-static I would suggest using a product like

MG Chemicals, makes a lot of products that will work great for this application.  I figured at some point someone would make a comment like you did about it not being Anti Static.
