A portable and compact sensor node, which will have the power of Aprkfun Artemis' AI technology for analysis purposes, in remote areas of the city. This node is not just a simple air quality monitoring device, but rather a package of builtin sensors, which can measure all types of pollution levels, including air, noise, water, etc.
The whole system will have an additional internet-connected microcontroller, which will push the collected data on the could for remote visualization. The collected data will be sent to the cloud and with the power of AWS, the analyzed results will be sent to the cloud too so a heat map will be created on the city map, showing the extent of pollution in each area. Moreover, it will have anti-theft protection for security purposes, which is still absent in the existing monitoring devices.
