I guess the suggestion box moved here so I will reiterate one idea I mentioned earlier and add one: - a classroom demonstration of some physics phenomenon ( jc2048 had some good ideas ) - a solar powered…

Keeping with July and (northern hemisphere) Summer time, I like Douglas' ideas. Demonstration of physical phenomenon for classroom is a great avenue, I was thinking lots of solar stuff. Charging systems…

    Typically the steps are:

    • Make a project and write a blog
    • Add a video to show the project in action
    • Tag the bog with a tag that will be published on that month's home page

I'm sure many of you know what Geocaching is. If not, is an awesome way to spend time outside, discovering new places and, at the same time, having fun searching for treasures.

    It's fun for all family.

Why not a contest to build a "Smart" geocache ?  Using electronics to build a cache that is a challenge to the Geocacher, but at the same time, fun.

To make it more challenging, it could have a theme.

    Think about that.

When I was a teenager, I built a circuit that was described in a magazine, an electronic prank cricket that started clicking when the light went off and stopped when the light came on. The circuit used a pair of 555s and a photoresistor. My older brother was not so amused, nor was my mother, only my father understood me.

I found in an enjoyable read. 'How to lose friends and irritate people...' Still, I now have much more time available to spend here on element14 talking about microcontrollers without distractions Joy

I thought it makes for quite a good 'second book'. Refreshes the basics then moves on a bit from the blinking LED sketches into a few different projects.

However book choices in general are very personal things. It often depends on the author's writing style and how well you can relate to the content within.

I think you would get on well with author Clemens Valens.

Especially the 'Annoiser' Italian-style with added air horns...

For April, how about an April Fools automated homemade prank/gag project  ?    For example,  Annoy-atron with a IOT or BLE Sense trigger ?

    March 2022 - 555's.  It's always 555's.  LaughingThumbsup

Of course... I'm WAY behind in the vote.  Stuck out tongue winking eye
