There's Still Time to Submit Your Photography  Project!

 

  • An homage to Sci Fi and its influence on drone technology.  Your project can feature any kind of drone such as a UAV drone. a droid, a robot with wheels, a Borg, a Cylon Drone, or a humanoid drone.

 

Submit your project from now until anytime on June 28th to have your project featured here!

 

You will be judged on the basis of the following criteria:

 

  • Follow the Steps - Did they provide the steps it took to complete the project (text, video, or images) and/or schematics.
  • Submit Video Proof - Did they post a video proof of their project?
  • Stick to the Theme - How well did the project stick to the theme of the competition?
  • Demonstrate Originality - Did they come up with a clever name for their project? Or did they introduce something new or that is not commercially available?

    Thank you for the compliment Dubbie.

    I go to work to build and work on serious stuff to save the planet. I need a break from it.

    My project14 philosophy is have fun and be creative with technologies and platforms I normally don't use at work.

    I always learn something new and have something tangible to share & hopefully inspire the community youth to be our next gen engineers.

  • I missed the extension to the deadline (not sure how that happened), which is a shame as I might have been able to get some pictures of cats in my garden. I've not been on E14 much since then as I have been filling skips, gardening and sleeping in the sun. I have spent a fair amount of time searching for slugs and so far I've found over 300! - all of which are now sadly (not) departed. With the hot weather I've been having to go out at 110.00pm to find them. Still, it's raining today (and tomorrow and quite possibly for the next few weeks - maybe summer is over in the UK), so more time for E14 again.

     

    Lots of good projects here. I especially like the stop-motion camera stuff by and the thermal camera sensor (MLX90640) by (sadly Farnell no longer supply this product otherwise I might have purchased one).
