Me too.. Plus an echo.

It took awhile to warm up to Echo at first but the Echo Dot works great in the kitchen as a music and timer device (connected to an old ipod speaker dock).

I use another dot in the living room connected to an old receiver... its better than any other bluetooth dongle I've used.

I've got an amazon echo that I use as a bedroom speaker to help lull me to sleep with music or an ebook.. so I'm not in a particular rush to get another Alexa enabled device.

That said, it seems like the spot could be a good security cam for the home, would be interested in what people do with theirs before considering one.

I have two Dots.

Both tell terrible jokes.

I still prefer my simple Sony Dream Machine because it does everything an alarm is suppose to do and has a classic feel to it:

I am intrigued by the echo spot but I haven't come around to having a camera where I sleep.

If someone were to make a classic alarm clock that was Alexa enabled I'd seriously consider an upgrade.
