Times are a changing! I just ordered 4 ciramic tube sockets and 4 shield sets ( two in blue, and two in red ). I was asked why the two colors? "Because I can." Was my answer hey right and left chanels. I have a older Sony cassette player, I think it will hold all of the crap, and the hole where transport door is, I will mount a little plexeglass, nice to see the things glow. But an led will help. My biggest setback are tubes 12AX7 (about $20.00 each, and the transformer (smallish) with 12vac at about 1amp + HV is almost un-ubtainioum.)
