In the discuss menu what happened to TI LaunchPads??

phoenixcomm

In the Discuss Menu from the main bar, there are Items for

  1. design such as:
    • Altium
    • Eagle
  2. SBC centric such as:
    • Arduino
    • BeagleBoard
    • Raspberry Pi
    • Single Board Computers (really all of the above)
  3. As well as other topics

But there is one glaring omission in item 2 or the SBCs. You forgot to put in the TI LaunchPad Series.

Now that you mentioned it, I am wondering too...

Well, TI is silent about them too - except for the new beaglebone (that's not really really coming out of the TI ovens), it seems to be very quiet around development boards, launchpads, boosterpacks.

I used to use TI LaunchPads quite a bit - and still do to some degree. It's never really been a popular area here on E14. There used to be a vibrant community over at 43oh.com but that ended up being all…

Was there ever a Launchpad section? Maybe you were thinking of the MSP430 one?

No, not just the MSP430, MSP432( has better IO), but SimpleLink, C2000, Hercules, Sitara.

I have used and been to TI inhouse training for the following: MSP430, MSP432, C2000, Sitara.

    And the ecosystem Boosertpacks.
