Encouraging Nephew off games and into Electronics/Computing

Number 2 Nephew has a PS4 as his best friend, unless something can be done in 5 mins it isn't done at all.

I'm trying to encourage him in to doing some projects to improve his problem solving skills (or at least finishing problems that take a time to solve or complete!).

 

What ideas or suggestions do members have, what have you done in a similar situation?!

    Don't! Instead encourage your Nephew to write his own games and then maybe create his own video or Pinball game hardware.

    This challenge is much more rewarding than completing a video game.

    The thrill of an "Aha" moment so rewarding.

     

    If you don't know where to start then a Raspberry Pi Zero might be the way to go!

     

    In this day and age there are too many zombies that are glued to their smartphones!

    Using an electronic device (whether it be a video game, smartphone or similar) is not a skill!
