This is the powerpoint that I used during the Raspberry Pi Training at Truman College. Thank you to all those who attended. For anyone who couldn't make it, we will most likely do more of these. There was a lot of interested in getting together to work on projects.
In this training we:
- Unboxed Raspberry Pis.
- Plugged them in and loaded the operating system for the first time.
- Looked at a Raspberry Pi - Internet Radio project
- Updated and Upgraded our operating system
- Downloaded Apache2 to make our RPis local web servers.
- Looked up our IP addresses.
- Made changes to a local web page
The update and upgrade took a while, so we didn't get a chance to load and run Minecraft, like we wanted to. Those instructions will be posted to the community as well.
