Pi_camera_training.pptx

With the help of Element 14, I recently led the second of two trainings for educators with Raspberry Pis and the Pi Camera.  The training went well, and I am proud to say that we were able to go from setup to the creation of a time lapse movie in under two hours.  Thanks to some of our teachers for leading the way and pointing out some ways to make it faster.  I hope you all find this helpful!

  • This training was great! I had literally no experience with RPi or really programing and after these 2 two hour sessions I feel much more comfortable using this little device.

    The next thing that would be an awesome workshop would be automation/making it portable. We have discussed putting the RPi somewhere and letting it collect data while running off a portable power source. The question I still have is how do I get the RPi to do what I want it to without bringing a keyboard, mouse and monitor.

    If you continue to have any kind of workshops involving the RPi I will continue to attend!
