So here I am with my project...
Here I will share with you what have been thinking and done to get closer to a sheet sorting machine.
I put a little bit of thoughts into how the machanics of the thing would work, and as advised in the comments of one of my previous post I could try to use some parts of an old printer.
And guess what... this what I am going to do !!
I started with my brother's broken inkjet printer.
By the way sorry for the crudity of the pictures 
my smartphone does get a little bit oldish
So what I needed to do is figure out what to keep and what to remove...
I finally end up removing just about everything, but first I needed a little test to be sure it was working as expected.
After cleaning everything and removing everything apart from the things I needed I ended up with this:
Next I will need to figure out how to stop the paper under the camera, I will maybe add an arduino into the mix for real time convenience, I don't know yet, any advices ?
The feed system will be controlled via a mosfet I think, switching on and off the DC motor which is powering the feed system.
I will also make a fixture for a servo motor that will, hopefully guide the sheets in different compartment.
