Hi Everyone.
We are very excited to see so many talented participants in our Teacher's Pet Students' Robotics Challenge. We can't wait to see these projects for the classroom come to life.
element14's STEM Academy exists to support educators who are working to introduce students to the world of electronic engineering. That's why we, along with our partners MathWorks and Adafruit, are asking that the final prize of a Robox 3D printer be awarded to the winner's educational institution (see Terms and Conditions 2.7). We want this amazing piece of technology to be used in an environment where it can make a direct impact on young learners. For that reason, the Robox printer will not be awarded to the participant, but rather to his/her educational organization.
The only action needed the Challengers need to take is to message the name of the institution they are competing for to element14Dave. This will be included in the Teacher's Pet Students' Robotics Challenge Finalists announcement.
Please let me know if you have any questions about this, and have fun during the challenge!
