This weekend Bristol (UK) plays host to the Mini Maker Faire.
Mini Maker Faires which are run in partnership with Make magazine, take place all over the world and enable makers of all descriptions to come together, network, share ideas and show off some of the amazing electronics, craft and art projects they have been working on. Opening the faire at 10am is none other than Eben Upton of the Raspberry Pi foundation. Eben will also be giving a talk at the event, forming part of a stellar speaker line up (you can check out the whole list here).
The event takes place at the 'M Shed' in Bristol and entry is free, so bring the family down and see what these amazing makers have created! You can also visit the Bristol Mini Maker Faire website to read all about the makers and their projects http://makerfairebristol.com/
As we're sponsoring the event, element14's Christian Defeo and myself will will also be on hand to to talk about the element14 community, as well as give away plenty of freebies (including some Raspberry Pi's). So drop by and say hello if you're attending (if you identify yourself as a community member we might have something extra special for you too).
