...Human excrement.  TOTO, a toilet tech manufacturer in Japan, built the motorcycle as part of the 2010 "TOTO Green Challenge." The goal is to cut down 50% of CO2 emissions in bathroom technology by 2017 (50% vs 1990 levels).

The "Toilet Bike Neo," as it is called, is on a 1,000km journey promoting its cause across Japan. The bike is equipped with many interesting gadgets. A residual light imagery setup, also known as a persistence of vision, can display words as it drives by. The bike has a professional sound system to entertain spectators. Of course, the latest is TOTO toilet tech is mounted prominently in the middle. The toilet talks, tells fortunes, displays stock quotes, and forecasts the weather.

Starting from the TOTO headquarters in Kitakyushu, the bike will head to Nakatsu and the famous "ass-shaped" rock formation for related reasons (Pareidolia at its best).

Then it is off to Hiroshima, Okayama, Kobe, Nara, Kyoto, Aichi, Shizuoka, and finally Tokyo. Catch the bikes whereabouts on the TOTO blog.

Unfortunately, the rider does not power the bike with their natural processes. The Toilet Bike Neo runs on biogas fuel, which is a fertilized, purified, and compressed livestock waste and household wastewater. It indirectly runs off human waste, in other words. However, they are on the right track. Someday, it will work, Toilet Bike Neo 2?

    Hi E,

I told you there were lots of sources of Natural Gas. image

I am happy that someone has finally realized the treasure we are flushing away everyday.

Reuse is not just for hardware and software, value lies in recycling everything.
