The Inspiration: How did come about?
Having attended the Electronics Distribution Show in Las Vegas over the last four years I was struck by the networking opportunities it presented for electronics purchasing professionals. It was apparent the UK electronics supply chain could benefit from similar networking opportunities, all be it on a smaller scale. To ensure a successful UK event, I asked MMG’s in-house circulation staff to start calling readers to explore the structure of an event that would exactly meet their needs. The team spoke to upwards of 1,000 readers testing a range of content and pricing options.
