If you are looking for a mini stick PC with a little bit of extra power you might be interested in the new Hiapad Hi-802 which has been announced this week by Chinese manufacturer Hiapad.
The Hiapad Hi-802 is one of the first Android TV mini stick PCs to be equipped with a powerful quad-core processor, being powered by a Freescale i.MX6 quad-core ARM Cortex-A9 chip supported by 1GB of RAM.
Other features of the new Hiapad Hi-802 mini PC include Bluetooth and 802.11n WiFi connectivity, together with a microSD card slot for storage expansion.
As expected there is a HDMI port at one end, allowing you to insert it directly into your HDTV’s HDMI port, together with a USB 2.0 port at the other, enabling you to add a keyboard or mouse. The new Hiapad Hi-802 is expected to start shipping next month for around $89.
