CAD software supplier launching 50 percent off Fusion 360 sale for Newark customers week of April 25
April 26, 2016 – CHICAGO – Global electronics distributor Newark element14 is growing its partnership with multinational software provider Autodesk by launching an exclusive, limited-time sales promotion for its customers. Through Friday, April 29, buyers will receive 50 percent off Autodesk Fusion 360 – a CAD software platform that brings together CAD, CAM and CAE in a single cloud-based tool – when they purchase three or more one-year licenses.
Autodesk Fusion 360 provides engineers with an innovative and efficient design tool that combines industrial and mechanical design, simulation, collaboration and machining in a single cloud-based platform. The platform is designed to facilitate easy sharing as projects are accessible on almost any Mac, PC or mobile device. Capabilities include freeform modeling and sculpting, solid modeling, parametric modeling, mesh modeling, integrated simulation and testing and data translation of more than 50 file types.
In December 2015, Newark element14 and Autodesk announced a new partnership to expand the electronics distributor’s product offering to include Autodesk’s mechanical design software in addition to its robust portfolio of embedded, test and EDA design software. The partnership initially focused on six product lines, including Autodesk Fusion 360.
The Autodesk Fusion 360 package normally sells for $300 but with the promotion, the total cost to the customer for three kits is $450 (with roughly $450 in savings). The discount is available through Friday, April 29 from Newark element14.
