Optoelectronics designer and manufacturer StockerYale plans to unveil five new laser products at the forthcoming Laser World of Photonics in Munich.
The products include the Lasiris Purebeam fibre-coupled laser which is designed for flow cytometry, confocal microscopy, bio-detection and other high-end applications.
Additionally, the company's Lasiris Green PowerLine pattern generator, available in powers from 50mW to 200mW, will be unveiled.
It is intended for applications including glass and hot steel inspection, targeting and R&D.
Mark W Blodgett, chairman and chief executive officer of StockerYale, said the company's focus is on bio-medical instrumentation and defence markets.
"The introduction of these new products reflects continued R&D investment in our laser module product line, which currently represents the largest segment of our company," he added.
Laser World of Photonics, due to run between June 15th and 18th, looks set to buck the global economic downturn by attracting over 1,000 exhibitors and boosting the international photonics industry.
