Vishay Intertechnology has announced the release of a new series of radial aluminium capacitors.
The 146 RTI devices offer low impedance values, high capacitances, high ripple currents and the ability to run at temperatures up to 125 degrees Celsius.
Available in 13 different case sizes ranging from 10mm x 12mm to 18mm x 35mm, the capacitors offer a capacitance range from 68 microfarads up to 6800 microfarads over a voltage range of 16V to 63V.
Ideal applications include smoothing, filtering, buffering and voltage decoupling in SMPS and DC-to-DC power supplies in a variety of environments including industrial, automotive, telecoms and military systems.
The 146 RTI capacitors offer a very long useful life of between 2500 hours and 6000 hours, and samples and production quantities are available now.
Vishay is also offering new ultra high-precision bulk metal Z-foil surface-mount resistor networks, offering the best combination of stability ever achieved in a ball grid array format.
