A 7/8" threaded-locking feed-through connector has been added to a new range of connectors used for power supply networks.
The new addition to the Binder-USA Series 820 product line is rated up to 8A per contact.
New connectors are available with gold-plated contacts, with each connector constructed using a nickel-plated brass housing and a M25X1.5 fixing thread.
The connection, if properly made, is capable of protecting against being compromised by debris and liquid.
Biner-USA's announcement comes shortly after the expansion of its RD24 Series 692 line of overmoulded connectors with the addition of a new seven-pin component.
The overmoulded cord-sets are available in either male or female versions, with a rated current up to 10A per contact possible.
Binder-USA is a subsidiary of Franz Binder GmbH, a German-based designer and manufacturer of circular connectors and cordsets for industrial environments.
Its seven-pin RD24 connectors are commonly used for power supplies in the oil and gas industry with various commercial applications.
