Onset has launched a new fast-mount light sensor bracket that can be used to support Normalised Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI) values calculations.
NDVI is the standard measure of green vegetation density in an area, making this new bracket ideal for monitoring applications for climate change research.
The bracket also provides values of a finer resolution than is possible with satellite NDVI.
Data logger solutions provider Onset's new NDVI Light Sensor Bracket can be configured with a range of the company's research-grade weather stations, offering plug-and-play operation.
It can also be equipped with a range of sensors for measuring air temperature, relative humidity and photosynthetic light.
Onset provide a range of logging products, that the firm boasts provide some of the most reliable and accurate data under tough environmental conditions.
Its other products include data loggers, energy logging systems, weather stations, wireless sensors, water level loggers and external sensors.
