EcoTek Lighting has developed ultra-bright outdoor LED light boxers for green auto manufacturer Fisker Automotive.
The high-powered, energy-efficient backlit boxes were installed at Fisker Automotive's headquarters in Irvine, California and the company's engineering facility in Pontiac, Michigan.
Providing 55 per cent greater efficiency than standard fluorescent lamps, the panels last up to 100,000 hours and feature grids of LEDs across the entire surface area to provide six times the brightness of traditional lighting solutions.
Rick Farrell, president of EcoTek Lighting, said his firm was proud to work with a car manufacturer with such well-established green credentials.

Fisker Automotive's Karma model uses Q-Drive plug-in hybrid technology to burn no fuel whatsoever for the first 50 miles of a journey.
