Leading LED manufacturer Albeo Technologies has announced the retrofit of the Renaissance parking garage in Turtle Creek, Texas with its award-winning products.
Albeo's C-Series LED fixtures replaced 175 watt HID lights in the garage to provide a long-lasting and cost-effective lighting solution.
The installation of 302 C-Series fixtures is estimated to have reduced energy consumption at the site by some 55 per cent, as well as improving light levels and distribution.
It is believed that the energy savings will mean the project pays for itself within a year and a half.
Paul Winker, product manager at Albeo, attributed the high performance of the products to circuit design, board construction and fixture design that delivers high light levels with fewer LEDs at lower temperatures.
He added: "Superior product lifetime is achieved by minimizing the junction to ambient temperature differential and using toroidal transformers, the most durable power conversion device."
Colorado-based Albeo was recently awarded two patents for the C-Series SSL High-Bay, designed to illuminate warehouses and manufacturing areas.
