Multi-channel electronics components distributor Farnell has received an industry accolade from Panasonic.
The firm has won Panasonic's Demand Creation Award 2008 for passive components, following a ten-year relationship during which Farnell has brought Panasonic's product range to an ever-growing customer base.
Over 2,000 Panasonic passive products are stocked by Farnell, including capacitors, resistors, inductors, chokes, coils and a new range of LEDs.
Neil Harrison, managing director of Farnell, said the firm has enjoyed a mutually beneficial relationship with Panasonic, which has "always been at the forefront of innovation in the electronics market".
"This award underlines the strength of that relationship and how we are successfully reaching out to our customers giving them fast, easy access to an industry-leading product range," he commented.
In May Farnell celebrated 70 years of distributing electronics components, following the company's launch as a distributor of radio parts in 1939.
