Skyworks Solutions, a supplier of analogue and mixed-signal semiconductors as well as diodes, power amplifiers and switches, has been commended with an award from broadband solutions firm 2Wire.
Since 2006 2Wire has been a Skyworks customer and in recognition of the high quality of its products, the broadband firm recently awarded it the 2Wire Silver Gateway Supplier of the Year.
Marty Novak, vice-president of corporate quality at 2Wire, offered his congratulations to the entire Skyworks team for achieving the honour.
"Over the years Skyworks, through its innovative devices and excellence in product quality and service, has played an important role in helping us deliver intuitive and reliable user experiences to millions of broadband users around the world," he commented.
In 2008 LG electronics awarded Skyworks its Best Supplier award in recognition of the firm's technology, quality, product reliability and on-time delivery.
This marked the second consecutive year that Skyworks received the award.
