New versions of Snake Creek Lasers' MiniGreen series DPDD laser device have been announced by the firm.
MiniGreen A Series lasers are designed for applications that require up to 120 mW TEM00 output power and include options with an integrated photo-detector monitor and high polarisation.
Offering a small size of just 9 mm in diameter, a near-diffraction limited output beam and low energy consumption, the MiniGreen A Series is ideal for use in portable and battery-driven devices, including laser lights.
In January this year Snake Creek Lasers announced the release of the Prolight-G, a rugged eye-safe laser illuminator designed to supersede traditional incandescent bulbs and LED-based torches.
Speaking of the release, the firm's president and chief technical officer Dr David Brown said the devices were suited for outdoor applications and hard-to-light spaces.
"This new professional illuminator, for the first time, offers kilometre-range illumination solutions for law enforcement personnel, hunters, campers and hikers," he added.
