ON Semiconductor has introduced the industry's smallest-packaged Schottky barrier diodes for application in portable electronics devices.
Four new 30V Schottky barrier diodes are housed in an ultra-small 0201 dual silicon no-lead chip-level package, offering what the firm claims is the market's best-in-class space performance.
They are available with low forward voltage or low reverse current at forward current ratings of either 100 mA or 200 mA.
Dan Huettl, director and general manager of ON Semiconductor's small signal and transistor group, said the company aims to keep pace with the growing portable equipment market by making new products as rapidly as possible.
"By combining industry-leading performance in small, space-saving packages, ON Semiconductor has once again demonstrated both our technical capability and understanding of our customers' needs," he commented.
Last month ON Semiconductor received the Outstanding Supplier Award from Chinese mobile phone design house Longcheer for the third consecutive year.
