A new addition to Process Sensors' line of IR thermometers has been announced by the company, which features digital electronics and precision engineering.
The DS-40N or DG-40N series of stainless steel pyrometers operate in a loop-powered mode to produce a linear four to 20mA output over selected temperature ranges from an overall span of 250 to 2,500 degrees C.
A green LED or laser aiming in a four-wire mode is also offered to illuminate the exact target size.
Additionally, a USB connection gives access to PC adjustments such as emissivity, response time, temperature sub-range and peak picker with supplied software.
Designed for application in the steel, ceramics and glass sectors as well as cement and refractory manufacture, the DS-40N and DG-40N have temperature ranges, optics and signal processing capabilities suited for these industries.
Massachusetts-based Process Sensors is a leading manufacturer of advanced NIR process moisture measurement and non-contact infrared temperature measurement.
