Ashcroft has today (September 29th) announced the launch of its new miniature digital pressure sensors, which it claims are ideal for refrigeration applications.

With a housing dimension of 1.2 inch square, the small sensors are also said to be highly suitable for automation equipment and air handling applications.

Available in compound ranges, the ultra-compact design, which is equipped with a 1-5Vdc analogue output, 3.5-digit LED display and dual programmable switch contacts, provides remote signalling, local reading and pressure control.

The functions of transducer, digital indicator and pressure switch are therefore all performed using one gadget.

Other features which come as standard include minimum and maximum recall, an adjustable analogue scaling and RoHS and CE compliance.

Meanwhile, it was confirmed earlier this week that Assembleon, a major provider of surface mount technology robotic assembly equipment, will retain CyberOptics as its only supplier for the alignment sensors deployed on its pick-and-place platforms.
!http://feeds.directnews.co.uk/feedtrack/justcopyright.gif?feedid=1785&itemid=19383063|alt=ADNFCR-1785-ID-19383063-ADNFCR|src=http://feeds.directnews.co.uk/feedtrack/justcopyright.gif?feedid=1785&itemid=19383063!
