Farnell has announced the launch of a new program that may be beneficial to customers looking to purchase fixed resistors and microelectronic assemblies.
The multi-channel, high service distributor has introduced a new e-sample program in collaboration with TT electronics Welwyn Components.
It will ensure that when customers visit the company's internet pages, they will be taken directly to the product page and an appropriate Farnell country website.
Consumers will be offered a choice of over 480,000 stocked products and design engineers will also benefit, as it will save them time as they work to ever-shorter timeframes.
Mike Buffam, director of supplier and product management at Farnell, said that pressure to deliver new products "as quickly as possible and with a competitive edge, initiatives that support more efficient use of time and give faster access to sample quantities are very welcome".
At the end of last month, semiconductor manufacturing firm Interil Corporation announced a new alliance with the Georgia Institute of Technology.
