Dialight has signed a new agreement that will see its LED white strobe technology utilised by a major US telecom tower operator.
This comes after the firm signed a $15 million (£8.9 million) contract to supply power technology for the roll out of a smart grid back in October.
Dialight's customer for the new project is unnamed, although the agreement has the potential to bring in new business worth over $15 million over the next two years.
Roy Burton, chief executive officer of Dialight, said: "Once again, this highlights our position at the forefront of solid state lighting technology, satisfying those opportunities where the intelligent application of LEDs will bring superior value to our customer base."
In related news, the BT Tower in London has become home to one of the biggest LED light displays in Europe and Asia to celebrate the run-up to the 2012 Olympic Games.
A total of 529,750 LEDs spread out over 177 panels are now being used to light up the iconic landmark.
