The ever increasing demand for energy-efficient products in India has prompted one company to expand its distribution network in the country.
According to EE Times India, Citizens Electronics has selected Supreme Components International (SCI) to head up the marketing and promotional campaigns in the eastern region.
The firm has been manufacturing LEDs since 1982 and produces the CL-L233-C13N, which gives off a brightness of 1335 lumens from an input power of 12.3W.
Through its Supreme Lighting solutions programme, Citizens Electronics hopes to provide technical solutions to businesses looking to bring new LED-based products to the market in short spaces of time.
Marketing manager of Citizen Electronics Irving Wong said his company is "happy with the marketing and promotion activity that has been carried out by SCI in the South East Asia region and we are pleased to include SCI in the region of India".
In related news, Cree has announced that it will be constructing a new LED manufacturing plant in south China.
