Providing high electrical performance up to 6GHz, Radiall's true 75ohm BNC HDTV connectors are easily installable on most analogue and digital coaxial cables.
Electropages reports that because HD video signals can now operate at a data rate of up to 1.485Gbit/s for 1080i and 2.97Gbit/s for 1080p, the connectors need to perform at a higher frequency than standard BNC.
The true 75ohm BNC connectors are tailored for use in broadcasting environments and systems, such as routers, cameras and video recorders and switching and control systems.
Farnell also advises that they can be utilised in satellite transceivers, aircraft audio systems and test instrumentation, the news provider continues.
"They offer better mechanical performance, durability and corrosion resistance than commercial BNC plugs," it adds.
