Larson Electronics has released a new LED spreader light for boats, which allows users to alter the beam pattern and adjust its direction.
The LED10W-4RT-F 40 watt spreader light can also be used for other vehicles to create a wide diffused light.
Rob Bresnahan, a representative from Larson, highlighted the product's hinge-stule mount, which allows customers to move the light with an adjustability of 45 degrees.
He also pointed out that the spacing of the LEDs gives off a very white and even light.
Mr Bresnahan added: "The one-piece housing design and bolt-on face plate simplifies the sealing process and enables us or the operator to change the lenses to alter the beam pattern."
The product features four ten-watt LEDs, with a foot-long pigtail ending in a two-pin German socket connector.
Last month, a study by German research team Osram indicated that LED bulbs use much less energy than incandescent lights over the life cycle of the two types of products.
